It's sad cuz the gpu in both consoles (ps4 and one, ps4 is a bit faster than the one) are measly compared to the pc equivalent released in the same year. Graphic demanding games on consoles are simulated since their gpu isnt able to deliver a constant 1080p/60fps quality with current gen engines, thus pre-rendered images of the game are saved in the game itself as to alleviate stress off the already outdated gpu to maintain the aforementioned quality.
Now just imagine what'll happen when 4k gaming becomes mainstream on pc and how devs will have to react when programming games for consoles.
