My ISP are planning to give use more upload speed. I heard a rumor that it might be as fast as 50Mbps... That would be cool...

£81.99/month. Worth it for this speed. BT suck but they are also about the same price.
I will never go with BT again, I have been on Virgin Media since April 2008.

That actually pays for more than just the internet.
Phone with free calls to 01 or 02 numbers and TiVo with all the documentary channels including Discovery, Nat Geo and Eden, all in HD along with a further 200+ channels.
Also, I get 1,000 minutes to any country in the world (mostly) including the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

I could get all the movie channels for an extra £10/month, but they are all repeats.
I chose Virgin Media as the service is very good. The odd occasional blip here and there, but I understand that I cannot expect a completely fault free service. Feel sorry for you Hawk, I know how frustrating slow internet can be. I started on dial up at 28.8Kbps and even that was only 5Kbps download, that was in 2004, we are now 11 years later. I am happy but I am in no doubts that Virgin will keep releasing more speed over the coming years.

At the University of Queensland, I get 400MB/s, 200MB up and that is on a slow day! Apparently it can reach 1GB/s down, here's a link...
