CPU: AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core

GPU: AMD R9 270X (can crossfire, performance = 290x)
Price: $210~
Mobo: Gigabyte AM3+ AMD 760G (GA-78LMT-USB3)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB

PSU: EVGA 500 W (Any 500w psu, may need a bigger one if going crossfire)

Which gpu did you buy?
High vram is only necessary if you're playing on more than 2 monitors (1GB vram per monitor). I was implying in terms of performance output, 2 x 270x ($420) = 1 x 290x ($620). You're also forgetting that other manufacturers create their own "version" whether it be stock overclock, extra fan(s)/liquid cooling, aesthetics, or by adding in additional vram (Gigabyte made a 270x version with 4gb of vram) etc. Besides, the 270x is the best price for performance even though it's based off of last gen technology.
Tbh, Im still deciding between 270x or gtx 760 and possibly dual, tri, or quad?! crossfire/sli it in the future. But then again, if you're going multi gpu, it would be better if you just bought a gtx 780 from the start as single gpu is always the best. (avoiding conflicts in sli/crossfire)
