Think about it. This is exactly like the Cuban Missile crisis. Things got so intense that both the Soviets and US got ready for war.

What I think is just let Ukraine split. Or pressure Russia with huge sanctions. Sanctions are not an act of war and every county has the right to do it.

Putin seems like he's doing the same thing as Hitler. Hitler invaded the German speaking areas before starting WW2. Putin send troops to protect the Russians in Ukraine.
