Like H2V, HaloCE will slowly die as it gets older and players move on to other games whether they be different or similar. In the long run most clans just end up being a few friends who get together for fun whilst most others have moved on to different things.
The aim of any gaming community should be to retain the friends and fun attitude not quibble over what should be done to bring the old glory days. They weren't too great at the time and everyone tends to forget that, so move forward with whatever game happens to be the fashion but don't forget the friendships that you have acquired along the way. Just my two cents worth.

and SmG was never good. It has always been drama-filled cancer. That's why we love it.
But it's time to spread our glorious cancer to other games and other flocks of people.
