You're not alone brah, it's just the way Capitalism is. It's cheaper to pay a little Chinese kid to make your iPhone for 3 pennies than a first world employee who you are required by law to provide all kinds of benefits and a decent wage for.
The conservatives say the answer to bringing them back is to deregulate and let businesses do whatever. Last time we implemented Reganomics, the national debt spiked from 900 billion to nearly 4 trillion in two presidents (Regan and George Bush Senior).
