Due to the fact that each ground floor was not made out of steal. They collapsed from the area the two plane crashed down to ground level. Think of it as a domino effect. The Tower didn't come down from ground level but at the point were the planes crashed. Once each floor came down the beam structure callapsed and shredded the buildings within causing a free fall.

Conspirators like you never understood the fact that the free fall was not on ground level but at the area the plane crashed. The way the floors came down like domino's and how the steam beams shredded the building within crated a midsection free fall.
