Hey so wait when the enemy drop's the flag, why dont u go and retrieve it?
Instead of letting it stay in the "fallen spot" ... Is it to accumulate kills?

Or is that just the way pros play? or u cant retrieve the flag or wat?

I have never played reach so I have no idea about the gameplay..

In that version of Flag you have to stand on the flag for a certain period of time (I think its 3 or 5 seconds) for the flag to recover, because the positioning of the flag was right in a doorway with 2 lines of sight (the bit on my left and the room across the wall) without knowing that none of my opponents were in those 2 positions (I was searching on my own so we obviously had no comms) I would have risked dying with them being able to still touch the flag and score it when there flag reset un contested.

By me still being there they couldnt just simply rush the flag otherwise they would have run the risk of them dying and allowing me an easier return.

He is just showing pro tactics. Same in HCE, I don't go to retrieve the flag if it's out in the open because it will auto reset unless the enemy is near it. Then I kill them when they try to get the flag and return it whilst fighting if I can. In reach etc (depending on setttings) you have to stand on the flag for a period of time (up to 15 sec) for it to return. Auto return is even longer.
