Being home alone and hearing someone upstairs. I know I COULD call the cops, but me being the nervous wreck that I am would probably just hide in the bathroom with a toilet plunger as a weapon. (I don't make good decisions under pressure)

Why not just run out of the house?  :patwut:

Because that'd require the common sense that I lose when I'm stressed.

Then I keep making bad decisions and making the situation worse for myself. Which honestly, I don't mind. I love my nervousness since it keeps the day interesting. Nothing's fun if it goes how you want it to.
