Operation Valkyrie was the name of the fuhrer's plan if germany was in severe danger. Reserves armies everywhere even in Berlin. A couple of generals, colonels, lieutenants and other ranks to stage a coup in germany, kill the fuhrer and his inner circle and save germany from total defeat. Look up the man Colonel Von Stauffenberg. He developed the glorious plan that was so close to ending the fuhrer's life in his own Wolf's Lair bunker
