I believe there’s a afterlife. Going through life just expecting to have a eternity of nothing when you die is depressing don’t care about the realism or not I have the hope of seeing my loved ones again. 
As for dying it doesn’t scare me the only thing I’m scared of is dying without having accomplished anything in my life or dying without fulfilling any purpose. If I accomplished a goal or purpose that benefits someone else or greater good I can die happy.
