I stand up for autistic people. Standing up shouldn't be confused with fake and non-requisite sympathy developing due to misconceptions. I've seen autistic people getting bullied and maltreated. Me advocating their right to have a peaceful life is what I mean by standing up and I'd do that for people without autism too. I understand what you're implying here and I agree that this kinda attitude has to be eradicated. The root cause for this issue is probably their lack of knowledge on autism. I do hope you get treated the way you want to be treated and that you get a peaceful life. Stay safe
