Back when I was in highschool I really didn't see the point in reading till one of the librarians pointed out a book for me, she gave me the book Eragon, and oohhh boy I read book after book for years. I don't read anymore but it was all about finding the right book for me, even if its something cringe like Warriorcats or a book about dragons lmao. If a book doesn't catch your attention from the first couple chapters try a new book, if you get sucked in and find yourself imagining whole worlds in your head then keep on reading lol
