It's a lot easier to fall for somebody's perfect made up persona online than it is to fall for their authentic self. With online relationships you might also find your partner texting/calling you literally 24/7 because you can't meet irl at that time, and then experience a lot of issues that come from that ex. arguments, obsessive behavior that leads to breakdowns, etc. Online relationships are unpredictable and more often than not unhealthy in ways 

The only time I would EVER online date is if I've met the person irl ex. my friend who I frequently go 10 hours to visit and vice versa
