There's no earth...you start in an island of dirt with a chest and a tree.The chest contains a block of ice and a lava bucket. And to make it more interesting, the creator have puts some "challenges" like:
MAKE A COBBLE STONE GENERATOR
REACH THE NETHER
MAKE A MOB TRAP
MAKE A GARDEN
Etc.
