With modded maps the mod is set for a particular map. If you change the map type then the mod no longer works. This is why the modded maps are not changed or have map cycles.
The spawn killing is not as big a problem as it use to be. Spawn protection has been enabled and set to 3 seconds. This should give enough time for the newly spawned player to find protection.
If you shoot in this time the spawn protection stops.

I found that if I increase this time then the reds get to the top of the hill before the protection runs out.
As it is both teams have the ability to dominate the game if they can hold the hill. I have done that myself on both teams. It comes down to skill and a bit of luck.
Don't piss off old people.
The older we get the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.
