how hard is it to convince your parents that apple products are expensive paperweight

I'm fortunate enough to be able to be seen in my family as someone who knows a thing or two about techs shit, so people listen to me.

The problem for me is buying new hardware, be it a computer or a console or a phone or whatever is like a bi-decade occurance.

It's cool though, as long as things can do what I need them to without making me want to punch the screen I'm not one to complain.
