I forgot to mention to lay a towel on you arm or wherever you burn is and put ice on that. You not going to get frostbit by just leaving ice on it or any cold pack for 30 minutes on a 1st or 2nd degree burn. If it was a 3rd degree burn then you still need a towel and ice if you don't have any sort of Sucralfate cream or just any burn cream.
These things don't help the burn it just eases the pain.
