It wouldn't actually be that bad in the DC universe tbh. All batman really did was create the Justice League. So without him, there'd just be multiple small groups of heroes as opposed to a single large group.

What are you talking about? Flash would be dead. Wonder Woman would have never been in the Justice League. And Lex would not have been defeated. And obviously Gotham would be a shit hole.
