You clearly haven't seen Alliance Garrison on Ultra, my R9 390 struggles to stay on 55 fps, crap of dynamic shadows and lightning.

Also heat depends on the system, mine never goes above 65º with 60 FPS on full ultra on WoW(except the darn garrison), BF4, Dota 2, Crysis 3 or Watchdogs. Considering that the card temp on idle is 40º and fans only startup at 61º at 20%.

And yes Lich, WoW is a 12 year old game, kind of a bad comparison.
