If you think your rng is bad, just remember that Stinger's soldier in XCOM2 was the first to die by the hands of the Chosen Assassin, and was pretty much brutally sliced in half in full view of the entire squad. I still have nightmares remembering how horrible that day was. The rain was coming down hard in the ruins of the radioactive city. The only thing we could hear was the sound of the rain and the fallen horde in the distance. As we readied ourselves for the deadly horde, we hadn't realized that it was already too late. Stinger had already died in front of us, and there was nothing we could have done to save him. It was awful.
