Butterfly Effect - A concept that states that "small causes can have larger effects".

I personally believe that it could be possible for even something as simple as spilling water by accident to cause something serious. I know this is a bit extreme but imagine if a small child happened to slip and get a concussion. This would higher the odds of slipping into a coma. Imagine if he did and he never woke up. Very rare but very possible. I don't know maybe this is a bit of a stretch with the example but there have been many studies on this and it's pretty interesting. What are your thoughts on it?
