[Rundas]

So it being summer and all, and that meaning I have some free time before college starts back up, I'm going to attempt something I've wanted to do since I was in wee lad in middle school. I'm going to try to create a wearable replica Mark VI helmet from Halo 3. And this will be where I document my process of doing it. Gotta show it off somehow, right? 

"But Rundas, how are you going to make the dang helmet?" you may be asking yourself. If you aren't, too bad. 
Theoretically, using paper like this I can more or less make a base structure for before creating finer detail and structural integrity with resin and car body filler. And a butt load of sanding. If all goes well and I'm happy with the finished product, maybe I'll make a few plastic casts of it and let Cloud put one up for a raffle prize on the forums. That'd be pretty neat, right? 

I'm going to try to keep all of my updates to the project and pictures as edits to the original post for as long as I'm able to, so check back in every few days to see what's up. I do plan on starting tomorrow morning as soon as I wake up, and I'll get post what all I've got done at the end of the day. I can't wait to finally get started on this project.
