[SmG Stinger]

Its been quite a while since we have made a giant wall of updates, but its about time we did. After a long and hardworking month, our Admin team finally has something to show you all.
We have not only added, but modified sections on our Forums, Discord and other platforms to help us become the best community we can be.
Make sure to read everything and let us know what you think   


Given Reputation
Users will now be able to not only view the reputation they have received from other users, but also the reputation they have granted. They will both be side by side in your Profile.

Referrals
By visiting your Profile, you will now see a button where you can view all the users you have referred.

VIP Section
SmG Donators, Senior Members and Scout are all now classed as VIP members, who have a hidden section on the forum allocated for them, as well a private voice and text channel on discord.

Forms
The way applying to join has been changed, as now instead of creating a thread to apply, a user only has to fill out a form and responding to each question. Forms have also been added to Ex Member applications as well as Ban Appeals. And will be used in the future.

Awards
We have decided to create 3 awards. The 1st being a Staff award, which will be given to each staff member (and current) for being a part of the team. The 2nd is for the upcoming halloween holiday, which we will have a future event for (keep an eye open). And the 3rd is a Gamer award . They can all be found on the Awards Page.

Signature Request
Signature Requests is the name of a new sub-section of the Images forum. It is being created and modified and will allow users to request signatures in a easier way all in the same place.

Discord Information
Links from the SmG Website are now embedded on the Discord :D. We have created and will be testing a ton of Discord Text Channels. Check them out on our Discord Server. This will allow us to have more places to converse about our favourite games. As most of you have already seen, we've added the #lounge recently and its been going well as a place for us to all hang about without randoms or pesky bots. New Members can also now see the #Members section, but not type. So make sure you get Full Member asap 

On a side note, we will not be receiving the "big advertisement" this month on Discord. There will be less traffic, so do not be alarmed and start a riot. This will mean less trolls and toxic users will be flowing into our community.

Blazing Usernames
Each user of the community has the chance to give themselves a "Blazing" username. If you have posted 25 times or more in the last 7 days, then your name will be uniquely modified (such as the way MOTM currently is). This is a continuous effect, so each day you will have to keep your posts above 25 for the past 7 days or risk losing it.

Roulette
At the top right hand corner of the website, there is now a button named "Roulette". This will randomly throw you into a thread that has been created in the past 21 days (not necro). This will be a fun way of finding new threads without knowing what it will be.

Twitter
We have begun using our SmG Twitter Account, and have added a #twitter-feed to the discord. Make sure to follow and keep yourself updated. A Twitter banner is also in the works.

Login Note
As some of you may have already seen, upon logging in you will see a small note informing you not to add the "SmG" prefix to your name. This is a minor update, but something which will go a long way to helping everyone.

Donate Page
Our Donation Page has been updated to look and feel better.

Roster Page
The Roster Page is currently being modified, so don't worry if you see things that are out of place. This will hopefully be resolved in the next few days. Please let us know and post on this thread if you see any bugs.

Help Documents
Last but not least, due to all these changes our Help Documents will be vastly modified and updated. So check them out not only so you know everything, but to let us know if we missed something.
