We didnt hold our hands over our heart back then....

So back in during WW2 the Americans used the Bellamy salute to pledge their allegiance to the US. This salute was the exact same thing the fascist Italians and N**i's did when they saluted the fuhrer or IL Duce.....

So they changed it to the hand over heart instead of that monster salute....
