1st Comic Con

So tomorrow I will be going to my very 1st Comic Con.
I am told this is the 1st one is 25yrs for my city.
I know they have one in New Orleans every few years though but I never get to go to those!

Have any of you ever been to one?
What should I expect?
How much money do you suggest I bring?
Tips or need to know things?

Any help or advice is more than welcome!
