I tried to make non-SmG donators into another name ages ago because I thought that they should not have the same group name as members.
Now people can just buy their way in.
It was discussed at the time that donators should become members but then we might as well allow members to buy ranks as well.

Don't piss off old people.

The older we get the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.
