you can just reply to everyone's post and it automatically puts all replies in a single post until someone else writes a new post under your reply. then it makes a new post.
Example:
some people in your thread comments,
-
you reply to all of them -> goes to single post
-
someone comments after your last reply,
-
you reply back, making a new post
