Then again u can close ur dms after ur done dming them. And an extra role and channel like that sound kinda uselesss imho. Good creativity at least 

that means i would have to keep my dm's closed for all servers.
that's my point, i want to be able to have people ask before they dm me in the server before they do.
plenty of servers have done this, and it's not as much of a pain as you would think it is, it's really a matter of habit.
