the 5k award was created when we were still a Halo clan and most members only posted on the forums.
At that time if you tried to get it by spamming then the spam posts were removed.
It was only meant as a further reward for senior members who had continued to post on the forums.

I would be opposed to creating new awards for lower levels of posting as it would encourage  people to spam just to get another award.
However I would not be opposed to reducing the number of posts required to 4k or 3k but no lower than that.
