Tbh, I am not even staff and I find this annoying.

But, lets imagine you being staff for a minute. What would you even contribute?
You aren't a scout. So you haven't put enough time in to try and recruit people.
You aren't a senior member. So you haven't spent enough time in the community to be known for anything.

and lets break this down even more you think you "Deserve" support. 

What have you contributed?
What have you accomplished while being here?
What have you done to help what would be your fellow staff?
