Usually if you have a smart phone (Black berry, iPhone, Sony Erricson, etc) you can use it as a personal wireless modem via bluetooth. If you are interested in doing this for whatever reason I could probably help you. With my iPhone, I can play music and call people through my computer and I can use it as an internet source. I find it pretty cool cause as we speak, my Dad and I are flying down the freeway and I'm posting this :P
