Hopefully it will be more like the original, that's my opinion anyway.
For anyone that has at least started C2 will know Prophet dies. If you haven't finished the game, the below spoiler will fill you in if you wish.

After Alcatraz destroys the alien spear in the big garden place (forgot the name of it :lol:) the suit malfunctions and merges some of its memories while integrated with Prophet into some of Alcatraz's memories causing him to believe himself Prophet (Or something along those lines) That is why Crytek refer to the character as Prophet in the article.
