First thing you ave to know is to move, aim, and shoot. <---- You probably know how to
Second, how to kill (headshots, combos, bxr, etc.). <----You must know how to bxr!
Third, find some cool spots in maps. <----- Helps you a lot!
Last but not least, learn how to die. <---- I can train you on that a lot. :D

No hate guys, oh my god people get angry so fast when you go against their opinion.

I thought I was good at mk. Then, I got a controller, and my gameplay got better instantly. I realized m/k doesn't stand a chance against a good troller player, this is a fact. I'm not talking about out-bring some dude on Coag, try to kill Kiko in a BR battle for example. Not saying it's impossible but it's really hard. And then again I'm talking about BR BATTLES, not general gameplay (mk has sexy snipes). FYI I usually play m/k on Coag, so I'm decent at it, but I wouldn't stand a chance in a 4v4 match with THF/AsK guys.

(btw Pirate I wonder if you improved your mk gameplay since the 1v1 you got against Retro playing mk, because, yeah, you know what I mean)

lol. You bring up that match? I can't out BR someone like Retro on his host, especially with his quality internet he has.
I hardly play Halo 2 anymore, so I doubt I would be much better than I was before.
Last match I played was with Cloud and got 7 - 15, then 10 - 15, granted he had 13 suicides and I had 11. Neither of us were really trying.

I just hate seeing people getting a controller simply for the aim assist, if you started playing on Xbox and it's the only way to play. Okay. If you're usually a console game and only play Halo 2 on PC for a kick back, then Okay. Controller is fine, if you always use a controller for gaming. Fine. But if you are only getting the controller for the aim assist and advantage then you are scum, end of story.

Alright Pirate I got your point. [and yeah, H2V is the only game I play on PC. I would have a hard time in Anniversary if I was MK :x ]
