MLG still does halo 2 stuff. i thought halo 2 is just out of the list because its a old game.
more in halo 3 and reach. Most halo 3 and reach montages came from MLG.

All formal Halo 2 MLG (actual Major League Gaming sanctioned events) died way before Reach came out. Pretty much as soon as 3 replaced 2 on the circuit. PLUS all live support for original xbox games has been revoked, so the only console to console h2 gaming happens on the online LAN clients (xbc, etc.).

That being said. H2 was where it was at in MLG. It gained MLG its popularity with the competitive gaming community, and allowed them to become the franchise they are now. The accidental button combo's are what made the game so entertaining to watch. I'd rather watch a good h2 player quad while oneshot and get away with it than watch a DMR battle on Reach anyday.

Walshy truly is the face of the MLG curcuit, if Halo 4 plays well I predict he will return Reach was a pro killer. Would be nice to get the competitive feel of halo 2 again.

Yes on Walsh. He was always better than T2 in my mind (: . Reach MLG V7 is actually far closer to H2 feel than H3 ever was.

Unfortunately, nobody outside the diehards are giving it a chance because of the taint of Reach.
