Weapon skins are everywhere. Of course the shape and dimensions won't change. But it will have a very different look. Example-

More work of other clans.
On a related note With this texture pack spartans look slightly better.

It's just a shader swap, that's all they're doing. It's fairly simple and can be done through the memory, that's how (basic) "chams" and "blue walls" are made.
Same as how they set this, except it's not done in the memory, it's done in the actual map files, inside the tags of the weapons.
