Your graphics should not suffer, it's only a shader swap, unless the textures are higher resolution than usual, it may affect your performance slightly, or drastically, depending on how bad your computer is. You should only lose a few frames, if any.

is there a way to join in a game through xfire with the texture enabled?
or must we run it through texmod.exe?

when i opened the file my scanner (AVG) said "Threat detected. Move to vault" so i did. should i jst trust the file or...???

lol AVG, Norton, Mcafee...they're all over sensitive to homebrewed stuff because they don't have security checks. Just trust the file dude :lol:

A .map file is completely safe, there is no way to execute any foreign code.
