What is the definition of 'in our body'? Because our digestive system is really a long thin tube running through us, that tube is connected to the outside and so is externalised. And since it is made in the gut, it is classified as being external and not 'in our body'. I do Anat so I can give more detail.
If you want to be scientifically correct, then no, it is not 'in our body'. If you want to be a vague scrub then sure, believe what you want.
