SmG uZzY94 Wrote:SmG Ray88 Wrote:niggas cant optimize their hardware
what's the point in having the latest tech if you cant use it properly
There are enough games that do recuire such things, well why don't we go back to 0,1 GHz CPU's I am sure a 1080p screen would work perfectly with 0,1 GHz!
which games? (I would like to know the game(s) that use as much cpu/gpu power as the latest pc games - quadcore 1.7 ghz + 2 gb ram)
sir do you know what "optimize" means?

Real Racing 3 sometimes drops framerate down for me, maybe its bc the phone is new and hardware stuff, but well D:
Still I would get more power for less prize with a droid :)

High gaming, vid editing/rendering on the go, lotta things.
Well, considering, I have an iPad, iPod touch, gifted iPhone to my cousin (eff my dad), 2 BlackBerrys, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Grand, I would agree on a few points put forth by Battlefire like user-friendly interface, interesting innovations like the street view etc.
I would say iPhone is for the casual user and Android for the advanced one
The iOS gives you everything on a silver platter, you don't need to put any efforts, but in Android, you need the initial drivethrough.
That being said, I like my iPad better than my phone(ofc it's close to $700), but the features and usability of the droid is no doubt more than the iOS.
All in all, the average mobile user( with a huge ass moneh stash) would like the iPhone better not the droids.

I think you're mistaken pulse, mixing desktop with mobile solutions. For desktops, I've yet to find an app that properly uses a dual core, let alone a quad core. We're talking about mobiles here right? A quad core doesn't make a damn bit of difference except to hide poorly coded apps/poorly coded OS and to have bullet points on a presentation. There's nothing CPU intensive enough on a phone to justify a quad core CPU.
Hell, a single core processor would be sufficient for nowadays.

Actually every game from 2005 or later supports dual. Also Windows Vista/7/8 does use multi cores automatically all the time lol.
programs? well... photoshop, vegas, after effects, fraps, firefox, chrome, explorer.exe, basically most programs do lol.
Even HCE does use both my CPU cores..
Oh and btw: the better the hardware, the longer the phone can last with newest software and games.
Why would u buy a crappy iphone 1 when it sucks compared to iphone 5?

Meant to say game instead of app
I'm also taking into account hyperthreading
dual cores have been around since the 2000, i doubt you'll keep your htc one phone until 2025
