Lucky for you it's kinda alright to drink that much and yeah, it's definetly better than energy drinks cause energy drinks have like really bad chemicals in them etc.
Also I think you should stop drinking coffee so much cause you don't know how to sleep.

I don't think it's bad to drink 5 cups of coffee, although I drink at least 1 every now and then lmao

I found a site that is saying that 3-4 cups can benefit your health more than harm it.
"Overall, our umbrella analysis showed that drinking coffee is more often linked with benefits than harms. For some conditions, the largest benefit appeared to be associated with drinking three to four cups of coffee each day. This included lower risk of death from any causes, or getting heart disease. Drinking coffee beyond these amounts was not associated with harm, but the benefits were less pronounced.
Drinking coffee was also associated with a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gallstones, renal stones and gout. We also found that it was associated with a lower risk of getting some types of cancer, Parkinson’s disease, depression and Alzheimer’s disease. But liver disease stood out as having the greatest benefit compared with other conditions.
Reassuringly, harms were not apparent apart from during pregnancy when coffee drinking was linked to low birth weight, premature birth (in the first six months of pregnancy) and miscarriage. This is not new knowledge, and there are guidelines for limiting caffeine intake in pregnancy. We also found a small increase in risk of fracture in women, but there is some discrepancy in the evidence and further investigation is needed. " {A QUOTE FROM QUARTZE}

I think everything can have its positives in moderation, but everything can also be incredibly negative when it develops into an addiction. I think though you're probably toeing the line into addiction tbh, but maybe I'm wrong.

I'm a caffeine addict myself.
And it's harmful, but there's no escaping it.

Especially 3 to 5 cups a day, I have the same addiction like you, but I'll only drink like 2 cups of it, that's enough to keep you awake. Coffee is tasty, but it hurts you if you drink too much, pretty much the same as alcohol.
yeah, feel like i should go down from 5 to 3 or somth lmao
