does this hardrive look good?? I mean yeah 500 gb all the way, but the price seems spiffy, since a 250 gb one costs the same from another brand. So what do the tech geniuses here think??

If you can, try and get an internal drive over an external drive, they're better and more reliable. You should also try and look for a 'portable drive' more so than an 'external drive', external drives require a power source, portable drives do not, that is what makes them portable, instead of being labeled 'external', which are actually internal driver with adapters and such to make them work on the outside of the computer with a USB cable to transfer the data.
Desktop Drives need external power source, be cautious in what you need.
Western Digital = The Best
Seagate = The Good
Others = The sucky poo poo ... xD
Go for WD if you can, but seagate are pretty good also

Umm well the seagate that i posted i have a lessened capacity one with me, and its just a usb cable that hooks up with the PC> Im not a tech genius, so i hope im not being retarded, but umm does that take up power source like your saying? Or is it "portable"

Yes, Western Digital Passports are good, even when you throw them at walls, and floors, and people, they still work. xD
I personally don't own one, but my mate does, and he treats it like ... pooooooooooooooooooooooooop ... and it still works.
On the Seagate one, it says 'Includes: Power Adapter, USB Cable' ... It's not portable, you need to plug a power cable it, not just a USB cable.
