Yeah the server will be updated to 1.5.2 later, maybe not at all.
I'll talk to Konflict and Xorizt soon, once we've made a decision I'll post on this.

When you open Mincraft Launcher.
Below you name there is somethings that say "Force Update." Check the box and Click enter the game and that will get your Minecraft updated.

The version of the game doesn't depend on the launcher, it's the jar you have.
If you want to go to 1.5.2 copy the 1.5.1 jar and put it somewhere so you can switch between the two, then updated it.

Location for the jar: type %appdata%/.minecraft/bin in your search bar, then copy 'Minecraft.jar'
