I don't see why you couldn't consider it a sport technically. You playing a game on a competitive, professional level for money. Just because it doesn't take physical conditioning doesn't mean you don't practice and develop skill in some aspect.

Traditional athletes are just butt hurt because they know no matter how much muscle they have, they'd get raped at halo by someone like calvin or vader :P
