I personally have been sticking to my bike.. Great exercise.. But cars are useful..

And bikes are more safe. There is a separate part of the road you can use. No traffic that can effect you. And again very safe and good exercise. Here we have more car accidents then any other transportation combined.

Unless you're in the dead center of a city, you usually want to have a car. A bike is more safe until you realize that if you ever collided with another car you're basically fucked, it isn't actually all that safe.

And you seriously told him to wear a helmet lol. That alone made me laugh.

Helmet can save a whole life. You might have a broken bone but at least your head is safe. You can replace a brain.
