Re: recording

I use Fraps but it is memory intensive. Very large files are stored.

Re: recording

Depends on your hardware...

If you want best quality, use Fraps. Easy to pirate ;) But the files of fraps are huge.
E.g a 1280x720 pixels recorded video with 50 Frames per seconds (FPS), 39 seconds -> Filesize 1,3 GB.
Fraps needs alot of Space on your HDD.

Bandicam and Playclaw are also easy to pirate. You can tewak them easily to get good quality with a low consumption of space on your HDD. I might make a video of how to tweak it perfectly.
E.g a 1280x720 pixels recorded video with 30 Frames per seconds (FPS), 8Mins 27 seconds -> Filesize only 1,04 GB.

Re: recording

Traps does take a lot f space on the HDD . Once I had over 100GB of movies and I was wondering what it was, deleted all movies lol. fraps is the best one though preferable to many poll

Bandicam, doesn't take much of a toll on your processor.

Wut. My CPU goes nuts when I record 1280x720 at 50FPS. When I go for Fraps or Playclaw it works so good o_o

Need to investigate this >.>

Re: recording

I use bandicam primarily cause it compresses the videos automatically and if you tweak it a bit you get amazing quality just like fraps.

Re: recording

I think there is no need for pm since this might be useful to anyone.

What I do is
In the FPS tab untick the FPS limit thing
In the Video tab click on configuration: Change the fps to 60, the quality to 100 and in the audio part change the codec to pcm so you can edit it with vegas

That's it good luck ;)
