See, if MLP came from japan it would undoubtedly be anime. The difference between anime and MLP is that anime is fucking awesome and encompasses every genere under the sun. At the end if the day, you can really only say MLP is a childrens show.

Anime isn't a genre, it's a medium. Disliking anime but saying you enjoyed MLP is like saying I dislike movies, but Pulp Fiction is kick-ass (because it is). It just doesn't work like that; even if you dislike most movies you cannot say you dislike movies as a whole since you enjoyed Pulp Fiction.

Still, some people find content in only watching one series ever (most of the time one of the big three) but to be honest those guys are fags; Don't be that guy.
