ive played him a few times on pbe, he is pretty good. people get stunned so fast from his passive when you have a ranged carry with you. with a spirit visage, banshee veil, merc treads, randuins, frozen heart, and sunfire his w will give him and anyone he targets with it an extra 80 armor and 40 mr. early game his e is kinda painful because it widens his hitbox and if you dont use your w first you are going to take alot of damage in a teamfight, but if it saves your carries i guess its worth it. im not sure if buying thornmail and using ur shield to block aa's will trigger the passive on it, but if it does it would be a great item to get. his peeling is amazing though.

He fulfills a similar play style to thresh in that both are excellent at peeling but his q doesn't have as satisfying of an experience when landing it. He is also a lot tankier and the rewarding part is to get a good unbreakable shield off and eat up some big ultimates or dmg spells. I would think of him more like the tanky version of zyra. Most people like her for her disengage and the ability to effectively zone out people away from the carries with a large aoe knock up/stun. Braum kinda does the same with his ulti except it is a skillshot that is narrower than nami but much faster movement and it knocks up the first person more than anyone else. His q at max rank gives a 70% slow that decays over two seconds and applies a stack of his passive allowing him or someone else to hit the threat a few times and stun them for a bit similar to zyras grasping roots. His w and e are what I think truely define him as a champion. His w is basically help pix but he is the pix albeit a rather large version of one and his shield is a meat shield that absorbs every particle that collides with it from the front and takes the damage himself. Just a hint. Build tanky. Like really tanky.
