No it's not. You are allowed to sell your old CD's. It's no different here. You are perfectly within your rights to sell products that you own.
Under consumer law you're allowed to resell any physical item you've purchased, either new or used, you are not allowed to sell a CD (in this example) that you do not own, this includes downloading, also you may not burn or rip a CD and sell it (or the contents, unless you own the rights to that material), you may only do so for personal use, if you make a copy of the original and lose or sell the original, all copies must actually be destroyed.

If I remember right downloading pirated content and such is techniquely not illegal but uploading it for others to do so is.
