Unlimited ammo takes all of the fun out of the apocalypse, if it were for conserving supplies and ammo then whats so bad about zombies? if it were limited ammo I'd go with a crossbow or a hatchet, but if it's unlimited ammo I'd go with a regular 45 cal pistol.
but if you want a gun that'll knock you on your ass go with the 700 nitro express
