mainly because black will rarely show wear and tear
on a side note, dont download razer synapse 2.0 as it conflicts with window's driver of razer products

What doesn't recognize your electra? If you meant synapse 2.0, that program is only meant for razer mouse and keyboards; not headsets. (even if it was for headsets, what could/would you customize?)
Im assuming you meant mousepad not mouse, but I mainly bought it because the current mousepad i have was tearing on the edges and i wanted it to fit my razer theme with all the other razer products i had.

They're not meant for gaming or extended period of usage, not to mention the keyboard gets hot as it's right above the cpu heatsink. That's like asking why buy a mouse when there's a touchpad or why buy a microphone when there's a built in mic. Besides, I also be using my razer peripherals with my desktop as well.

Exactly, I've already replaced my laptop keyboard twice, my current one just started to die since yesterday due to the heat.
And Ray, I'm liek expecting a feedback of that razer keyboard in like 1 week, I also need to get one so yeah.

Phoenix has Electra too, he told me to download synapse 2.0 and customize my bass level and shit. I suppose it maybe be Razer Surround he wanted me to download lol.
So I take it that the mousepad doesn't really make a difference and it's basically just $10 down the drain.....
